Low GI Breakfasts
August 11th, 2005 by Y.G.For those who like me want to eat low GI meals but don’t necessary know what to start with (well, alright, after a while, I now know what I can eat, but in the very beginning, it was indeed confusing!), eDiets.com publishes a list of Top 10 GI breakfasts:
- Steel cut oats and raisins with nonfat milk
- Crunchy yogurt parfait
- Cottage cheese berry delight
- Southwestern omelet, whole wheat toast and grapefruit
- Cheese and tomato sandwich with avocado
- Eggless egg sandwich
- Mexican cottage cheese
- Berry Nutty Yogurt Parfait
- Vegetarian pita pocket
- Cold (low GI) cereal with milk or dairy substitute and fruit
More details about these are of course given in the article.
What else to say? These sure look yummy, and give some opportunities at trying something new.
