Heavy drinking linked to poor diet
February 21st, 2006 by Marsha James“People who drank the largest quantity, even infrequently, had the poorest diets,” Dr Rosalind A Breslow of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism in Bethesda, Maryland, the study’s lead author, said.
Is anyone really surprised by this “study”? If someone asked me that question it would be a no brainer. If someone is into heavy drinking, I doubt that a healthy diet is on their minds.

True.
Though I did know some people in Los Angeles who’d drink a bottle of vodka, smoke a bowl of weed … but the’d be darn sure to hit their yoga class the next morning.
I guess they were just trying to balance out the partying with at least a little exercise / yoga / etc.
