A week in the Zone
May 8th, 2006 by Tom BaurleyI’ve heard much positive reviews of “The Zone” diet, and I think I’m going to give it a try. Perhaps. We’ll see how it goes. Anyone have any input about the Zone? Apparently the concept of the Zone is to treat food as the most powerful dieting drug available - using it wisely to burn body fat, fight heart disease, diabetes, PMS, chronic fatigue, depression, and cancer. Supposedly you can see immediate effects within 7 days. If I succeed in sticking to this diet, I’ll certainly post upcoming the tips and tribulations I find through this experience. It’s a hard concept to take on - being told what to eat. I’ve never fully agreed with it.
Apparently the Zone diet is misunderstood by many as being simply a high-protein diet and that its difficult to follow. From those I’ve heard from that has had success with it, disagree. What do you think?
