10 Slim-Down Strategies

1. Weigh yourself once a day
2. Watch no more than 2 hours of TV a day
3. Contact a friend 3 times per week
4. Eat 4 g of fiber in every meal or snack
5. Take 5 (thousand) extra steps a day
6. Keep a log of your eating and exercise
7. Sleep 7 hours a night
8. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
9. Cut back on the overtime
10. Avoid refined sugars and carbohydrates
The author also mentions that you shouldn’t try all the steps as once — start with the one that’s easiest for you, then move on once you’ve mastered it.
