Getting Your Body Ready for Exercise
December 22nd, 2007 by Joyce PriddyMany people do not realize the importance of getting their bodies ready to exercise. This can be a crucial mistake that can cause injuries and accidents. You will have less chance to exercise and lose weight if you are laid up with injuries and accidents that could be prevented.
One of the best ways to get your body ready to exercise is to do a few stretching exercises each day when you wake up prior to eating your breakfast. This will jump start your metabolism and get your body more ready for exercise because you will be toning up slowly.
Prior to exercising with aerobic workouts, stretch some. Once you do the workout, stretch some more and let your body cool down. Don’t just immediately stop. Your body needs a warm up and cool down period to be in the best shape for exercise.
Rotate the days that you exercise to give your body and your muscles a break. If you over-do exercise you can injure your body and be in the bed for a bit. Make certain that you do the techniques for the exercises properly. You can have a trainer or someone experienced show you how to do them most effectively.
