The Diet Logs

I am forever looking for something that will help me stop my cravings for all those wonderful sweets and make me a bit full so I will be able to control myself.  I had a friend mention that she was trying the Slim Shots.  This is a diet supplement type of liquid that you take before eating and it is suppose to curb your eating habits.

Needless to say I rushed right out and purchased it off the shelf at the local Walmart store.  Now mind you it is a bit pricey for me as it was over twenty dollars for twenty one slim shots.  These are the same size as a coffee creamer so you do not get much for your money but she said they were working for her so I plopped down my money and rushed out of the store ready to give it a go.

I opened it up in the parking lot and took a Slim Shot.  The taste wasn’t overly pleasant but it was not bad in any way either.  I waited to see if it would take the effect that she assured me it would.  I was still waiting as I drove home to see if it would keep me from gobbling up everything in the fridge as I arrived home.

I must say that I felt no difference after the first shot.  Now the box does tell you that it might take a few days or something of that nature to feel a difference.  I took all twenty one shots over the course of the next four or five days and I felt no change in my eating habits at all.  It did nothing for me.  I am not sure what it did for her but the change was nothing in my book.  I was very disappointed and I once again felt like this was just another quick scam by somebody trying to make some money.  However, my friend swears by them and they do seem to be working for her.  I would not recommend them to anyone do to the price and the lack of help they gave me.  However, to each their own and perhaps they work for others.
