The Power of Walking

Maybe you have heard it a lot of times. It really pays to walk. Not a half strut, not a lazy walk but the quick step kind of walk. Walking is considered as the best exercise for all kinds of folk’s for the following reasons: It cost less; you only need a good pair of rubber shoes. You can do it anywhere; around the house, around the neighborhood or park. You don’t need to sign up for any membership since you don’t need any exercise machine. And if you are extremely busy you can still get the benefits of walking. Take the stairs instead of riding the elevator. Walk the block to your office; this can also help clear your mind. Or instead of parking your car near your office, you can choose to park at a far distance. There are a lot of ways you can do to include walking with your everyday routine. As recommended, the ideal number of steps will be 10,000 a day. But don’t get disappointed if you can’t. You can increase your pace everyday. It just takes a foot in front of another foot.
