Slowly But Surely

June 15th, 2008 by reina marcelino

Losing weight can be considered an obsession by other people. In fact one’s life can revolve around it. Every food weighed, every meal scrutinized as to the ingredients used, every calorie is counted. Diet plan is followed up to the last letter. You are not allowed to even take a bite of that sinful chocolate cake. If you do, raised eyebrows will surely not let you forgive yourself. This kind of strict dieting needs a lot of determination. Not all people succeed. In fact only a few are lucky enough to hold on to their promise. This is like inflicting pain to one’s self; the more you feel deprive, the harder it becomes to control yourself. The best way to lose weight is to do it slowly. You should adjust the food serving per week. If this week you have a cup of rice then makes it half of cup the following week. If you have been consuming soda for 10 cans per week, try to cut it by substituting more healthy alternatives, like drinking fresh fruit juices. The key here is making the effort to eat less of the bad foods and eating more of the good food. In no less time, you will notice that you no longer look for that slice of chocolate cake but a slice of apple or carrot.
