Work it!
July 8th, 2008 by Ronalyn EdillorI love to dance. I also would like to lose a few pounds. So I’m sure it will be lots of fun if I get to do something I love and lose those extra lbs at the same time.
I have tried belly dancing and I even bought VCDs so that I can dance along with the instructors. It was a fun exercise and I did it for a month and then I stopped because I got busy at work. Even in that short span, I can say that it worked for me and I felt lighter and I became more active most probably because I got to sweat it out.
After this, I also bought MTV’s Aerobic exercise which is also good. The music is funky and the routines are easy to follow. I would do this every morning I saw good results because I felt a general sense of well-being. I think it really helps if our body is sweating and of course, drink lots of water to keep from being dehydrated.
Lastly, I also got the chance to try out Hip-Hop Abs and it was a fun workout. The accompanying music is contemporary and the moves are easy to follow. I almost didn’t notice the time whenever this is playing. After one disc, I can’t wait to pop in the next one.
It’s been three months since I last did this so I’m hoping to do it again very soon. Got to work hard to lose the post-pregnancy weight.
