Eating Fruits
July 18th, 2008 by Ronalyn EdillorI love fruits but sad to say, I do not eat them regularly. My mother once said that if I am hungry, I can munch on an apple as it will curb my hunger and make me full. The problem is I am not really an apple-person so I do not like to eat it a lot. Don’t get me wrong, I eat apples but not on a regular basis. It is not my favorite. I will eat a banana instead or mango, if it is in season.
Some diet menu I have read included fruits so that it will be a balanced diet. It is important that we get fiber as well and some vitamins from these fruits so that our body will not lack the energy that we need.
Some people I know even make sure to eat a fruit for breakfast. I guess I am eating a heavy meal for breakfast but I do not really incorporate fruits. Maybe I can try this one. Even if I do not lose a lot of weight, at least it can do my body something good. By eating a daily dose of fruits everyday, my resistance can be improved and I can stack up on energy as well. This sounds like a good idea. I’ll keep this in mind the next time I do my grocery.
