Exercising During Pregnancy
July 20th, 2008 by ffExercise is good for practically everyone but it can really be beneficial to women during pregnancy. Of course, you should have your doctor approve any exercise program when you are pregnant (and even if you aren’t).
The American Pregnancy Association provides a list of potential benefits for women who exercise while pregnant:
It can help alleviate conditions such as poor circulation and back pain.
It can give you more energy throughout your day.
It can help you sleep better.
It can put you in a better mood.
It can better prepare your body for childbirth.
It can help prevent excessive weight gain during pregnancy.
