Modified Takeoff version from L.A. Weightloss
When I was on L.A. Weightloss (before they went out of business), they had a two day detox called “Takeoff” which included a meal plan, combined with their Takeoff drink. They suggested replacing it with the Hollywood diet juice, or if you were diabetic, using a cantelope or a two large oranges. Everytime I did the 2day Takeoff, I was amazed with the results. I lost a few lbs. each time and loved it. Now you’re not suppossed to do it that often, so I did it sparingly. It is designed to remove some of the toxins built up in your body by your diet. It removes toxins built up from sodium, sugars, alcohol, and other bad foods.
For two days you eat unlimited amounts of these foods:
Lean meats such as chicken, fish and turkey
2 eggs daily (limited)
Unlimited green vegetables (such as spinich, cucumber, leeks)
They also reccommend 1 or 2 LA bars/day, which are basically protein bars
(I didn’t do this or I did lite protein bars from stores)
Each day you should have two servings of 1/4 of cantelope or 1/2 an orange.
That’s it. I think you’ll see results immediately, I know I always did. I loved going in for weigh-ins after two days of Takeoff! (Overall, with L.A. Weightloss I lost nearly 30lbs. I was so dissapointed when they went out of business!!)
