Speeding up Your Metabolism
If you’ve read anything about dieting and losing weight, then you know the experts say that we should eat 5-6 small meals a day. For most of us, that’s just not feasible. We’re really busy! We don’t have time to do that. However, the experts are right. Eating throughout the day speeds up our metabolism and keeps it running at a steady pace throughout the day. If you find yourself without time during the day, use these tips to keep your metabolism active.
1. Take a fat burner after you’ve had your morning coffee. Take it with an 8 oz. glass of water.
2. Drink a protein shake as a meal replacement. It’s quick and easy. Plus, you can get protein powder in great flavors like chocolate or cookies and cream.
3. Buy the 100 calorie snack. Eat 1 of the snacks every other hour.
4. Munch on mix nuts. Nuts have the good oils and fats, and eating them will help your metabolism keep going.
5. Drink water throughout the day. Water is essential for metabolic proccesses, and it will keep your appetite from revving out of control.
6. Eat only 1 large meal during the day. It’s best if your biggest meal is at lunch, and you have smaller meals or “snacks” the rest of the time.
When the experts say to eat many meals during the day, it doesn’t have to be a whole meal. A handful of nuts or a 100 calorie snack should be enough to keep your metabolism firing.
